Bestfriend....

Today i want to tell u about bestfriend. Actually i have a bestfriend and my bestfriend is a man.. :) Semua masalah selalunya aku akan kongsi bersama2 dgn kawan baik aku nie... walaupun kami jarang sesangat berjumpa tapi persahabatan kami tetap okie sbb hari2 akan bertanya kabar atau bahasa kasarnya bergayut dekat telepon...hehehehehe... Kadang2 ada org bertanya yg die tu mungkin bf saya tetapi sesungguhnya die adalah semata2 bestfren saya sahaja.... Saya memang tak boleh jatuh cinta dgnnya kerana beberapa sebab tertentu yg tidak payahla saya ceritakan...hehehhehe...Alamak! Asal aku rasa mcm tulis surat rasmi plak nie eek??

Actually bestfren aku nie dah ada gf tapi kalau die takder gf pun susahla aku nak jatuh cinta ngn die nie... tapi yg aku tau dan perasan setiap kali aku ada masalah/cerita2 yg aku hendak kongsi dgn somebody aku mesti akan cari die utk meluahkan semua apa yg aku rasa.. beside kazen aku yg semestinya sentiasa menjadi bestest kazen everrr!....

Tapi lagi 2 minggu bestfren aku nie akan jadi tunang org dan mungkin pertengahan taun depan die akan jadi suami org.... Bila aku pikirkan pasal benda tu aku tiba2 jadi sedih.. sebab bila dah jadi suami org tak dptla lagi aku nak berkongsi masalah aku ngn die kan...takkan la kul 11/12 tengah malam aku nak call plak...kang tak pasal2 aku kena pelangkung ngn bini die....hehehehehe

Mungkin sbb dah dekat 3 tahun kut aku berkawan ngn die so aku dah masak ngn perangai die n sometimes die bleh jadi pendengar dan penasihat yg bagus... ada masanya aku akan tertunggu2 sms dari die dan aku akan risau kalau die hilang...

tapi sampai bila plak die tak kawin2 kan...takkan la die nak tunggu aku kawin baru die nak kawin kut...melampaula plak makcik nie kan....ahaksss.... aku bersediala menghadapi satu lagi fenomena baru dlm hidup aku nanti kan.... mesti sapa2 yg baca nie kata aku poyo habis sbb lagi 6/7 bulan lagi member aku tu nak kawin sekrg aku dahh stat sedih...biasala gua prepare dulu beb! nanti dah jadi senang nak handle....hehehehehe.... Slalu aku terpikir mesti bosan nanti kan kalau mlm2 boring takder sapa la aku nak sms/call....huwaaaaaaaaaa!!! ada sapa2 nak tolong ganti tak? ekekekek...kalau ada hantar cv secepat mungkin ek...kasi aku tapis dulu...ewahhhh!!

walaupun die nie kadang2 loglaq skit bak kata org utara tapi aku suka kawan ngn die.... setiap kali die habis training/game die slalu call/sms aku...lepas nie mesti aku rindu waktu2 mcm tu....

Are EPF Savings Enough?

FOR most of us, unless we are civil servants or self-employed, our only source of retirement savings is our EPF account.

With life expectancy as high as 72 years for men and 76 for women, there is a lot of years left after we turn 55, and this begs the question whether the money we have with the EPF is sufficient to meet our post-retirement needs.

The question of adequacy of retirement funds comes to the fore when viewed against the fact that only 23 per cent of our wages earned during the average 30 years of our working life (11 per cent contribution by employees and 12 per cent by employers) goes to support our needs for the next 20 years after retirement.

When we factor in the high and escalating health and medical costs as we grow older, EPF savings alone are clearly not enough to cover all our post-retirement needs.

At best, the savings will be just enough to cover basic needs such as food and shelter.

The average savings of active EPF members at age 54 illustrates starkly the issue of fund adequacy.

At RM99,048, this amount, which is expected to fund retirees' living expenses for the rest of their lives, can only meet the cost of one or two major hospital visits!

To illustrate this simplistically, let us consider an example:

Joe needs RM1,000 for living expenses per month (an amount which is actually small by today's living standards).

He withdrew RM99,000 from the EPF when he retired at 55 years old. In 99 months or less than nine years, Joe would have depleted his entire EPF savings.

At this point, Joe is only 64 years old. He has many more good years ahead of him.

This simple calculation does not even take into account other "real" economic factors such as inflation and interest rates.

Based on the above example, we cannot but ask ourselves the following questions.

How much should we provide for old age? What should we do with the EPF savings to ensure that there is enough for the golden years? What are other savings options apart from the EPF?

A comfortable retirement depends largely on our personal lifestyle, standard of living and state of health.

In the Malaysian context, it also depends on the willingness or ability of our children to support us

For a start, we must recognise the importance of maintaining our EPF savings. We must adopt a disciplined attitude towards this important savings instrument.

There should not be any unnecessary pre-retirement withdrawals unless these are in line with our retirement plans such as withdrawals made for the purpose of purchasing a house for ourselves.

Unfortunately, most of us don't leave our savings intact -- making withdrawals the moment we are allowed to, despite having alternative source of financing.

Thus, our EPF savings gradually erode over the years -- forcing us to be dependant on our children and relatives and in some extreme cases, the Government, to support our "golden years".

This phenomenon, though hard to imagine, especially for the younger ones, is a reality we will see more often as Malaysians age.

Secondly, members who can afford should contribute as much as they can to their EPF accounts and not limit themselves to the statutory minimum.

After all, the money is merely set aside for one's retirement. The compounding effect of the increased contributions will result in substantial savings at age 55.

The process of contributing more is very simple. All one needs to do is to complete form KWSP 17A and submit it to the EPF. This is applicable to employers as well.

To address the question of what is the right balance for retirement, we need to start planning and evaluating our financial resources and health immediately. We have to take the responsibility to plan our retirement.

The EPF, after all, is only one of the many savings instruments available to us.

We must take cognizance of the fact that the EPF, though a very important retirement planning instrument, should only be one of the many pillars of social security.

We should also seek professional advice in investing our savings in other instruments such as insurance and unit trust, based on their risk and return profiles.

There are enough investment instruments in the market to cater to all types of investment needs.

Ultimately, if we abdicate our responsibilities and we don't make an effort to plan for our retirement, it is then impossible for us to expect a retirement that is not plagued by financial difficulties.

Bangun tido kul 9 lebih lepas dikejutkan oleh msg dari member aku yg ajak pegi breakfast..rasa mcm menarik jer kan so aku pun terpisat2la bangun dari katil n terus mandi....aku pi breakfast kat F*M... adala 2-3 org member aku dah sampai kan...borak punya borak sampaila dkt kul 12..aiyakkk baru aku tingat nak byr bill yg tertunggak semlm...nanti dah kul 1 mesti break lunch kan...so aku pun jadi la F1 driver sbb nak kejar masa kan...hehehehe....lain kali borakla lagi sampai tak sedor diri....ekekekkeke

dah settle semua aku pun balik la rumah..lepas makan n tgk sinetron yg menyakitkan hati aku pun tertido la kejap.... dekat kul 6 adik aku call ajak pegi digital mall dkt ss14 tu...aku nie nak beli beg laptop.... :)

sampai kat digital mall aku berjaya mendapatkan sebijik beg laptop...sebenornya aku nak tunjuk gambor tapi picasa nie buat hal plakkk...tensen btul...takpela kalau dah okie nanti aku poskan gamba beg laptop aku...ececehhh bunyi mcm riakla plak kan..bukan riak saja nak berkongsi kegembiraan....ekekekkekke

Lama btul tak update blog kan..Kadang2 ada rasa mcm malas nak update blog maklumla hari2 pun buat benda yg sama jer..Boring kan?? Harinie nak citer skit pasal cinta..Semua org mesti pernah bercinta kan? Tapi ada jugak yg tak pernah maybe mereka nie blum ready takpun blum cukup umur..hehehehe...

Cinta nie ada org kata sesuatu yg indah...Tapi rasanya indah masa mula2 bercinta kut..Lama2 tu ada kureng skit..hehehhe..Tapi ada sesetengah org yg bernasib baik cinta tu akan sentiasa indah sehingga ke akhir hayat...

At Last...

Today i'm still in sban...Spent my whole weekends here..lagipun besok still cuti lagi sbb Hari Pekerja...heheheh...besok pagi around 10 am i will go back to kl..i need to study for my xm...

Actually today nothing interesting happen because i just stay at home and doing nothing... :)

But at last i get my detangler (conditioner) from shins...dah lama habis but today baru ada masa nak pegi beli...i already get use with this brand (L'anza)...Bila guna brand lain rasa rambut mcm keras jerr... mengada2 tak bunyi nya...ahakss...

Long day...

Actually i consider today is my long day.. i woke up at 10 am in the morning..bgn lambat skit..maklumla weekends..hehehe... today i had lunch with my fren..

at 2 pm i went to unitar for my mba class..the class finish at 4.30 pm..when i walk out from class i felt really2 sad because this is my last class.. i just waiting for my final xm and after that life as a student pun tamat... sedih sgt2 sebab dah dekat 2 taun lepak ngn member2...have fun..gossip sama2...tapi lepas nie dah tak jumpa lagi sebab masing2 sure sibuk dgn life masing2. i will missed this moment so much... :(

lepas habis lepak dekat unitar, i pun balik sban...dah la jammed gillerr2 punya kat highway...i bertolak pukul 7 dari kota damansara and i reach sban at 9....2 jam siot nak sampai sban..biasanya 45 minutes i dah sampai sban... gillerr penatt okey!!

sekarang nie pun mata dah nak terkatup...panas sgt...hopefully will raining soon..baru feel nak tido...hehehehhe... i really2 need a quality of sleep...
